Is it any wonder Hawaii is one of the happiest states? Plenty of sunshine, warmth, relatively little commute time, all the factors that count for the few that can afford to live there. For the rest, there's Orange County in Florida or California but California actually was not among the top but far down on the list of a recent study for happiest states.
