They say getting the things you want is often in who you know not what you know. I spent most my life arguing that point. Hard work, being honest, doing what it takes, taking risks, those were the things that made a difference in my eyes. Those are still the things that work. One has to consider though that having a friend and being a friend can make the difference too, maybe even more so now. Original post
