By William Tauro A Somerville Police Officer answering a call was fired upon as his cruiser passed the 31 Walnut Street area at 3 a.m. early Christmas morning. According to sources, "shots fired shots fired" was heard across the airwaves as the officer radioed in for back up. Somerville Police have made an arrest in this case.The alleged suspect, a vehicle and his weapon remain in police custody. The incident is still under investigation.
