NEW YORK -Drug developer Forest Laboratories Inc. said Wednesday it named Dr. Peter J. Zimetbaum to its board of directors. The appointment increases the size of the board to nine members. Zimetbaum is currently director of clinical cardiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Shares of Forest Laboratories rose 17 cents to $31.13 in afternoon trading.
