@ The Hindu: Spanish wind power equipment major Gamesa’s windmill assembly plant went online. A total sum of INR 2.3 bn was spent on the developing this plant. This plant is expected to produce machines of a total capacity of 500 MW per year. The company plans on investing INR 6.4 bn in developing wind farms in India. It is estimated that at any point in time Gamesa would have EUR 100 mn in wind farms under development.
