Bright students at University of Maine-Fort Kent will be able to earn a three-year bachelor's degree in education , reports the Bangor Daily News. Student Teachers Aspiring to meet the Real challenges of Schools (STARS) includes the same coursework as the four-year degree; students will earn more credits per semester, take summer classes and use AP credits. Teacher Quality Bulletin thinks 21 is very young to be a teacher .
