You wear the pretty dress because it makes you feel good. You make your hair look nice because you like the way your reflection looks in the mirror. You go to see the band because they make you dance. You dance because it makes you feel like the superstar you are at heart. All of it is for you. None of it is for him. So it doesn't matter if he didn't notice, because you had a good time anyways. And you sure did look fly.
