Starting next month, some used cars in New Jersey will not have to be inspected for four years. The Motor Vehicle Commission announced that starting on January 1st, any used vehicle purchases in or out of New Jersey will not have to be inspected until the vehicle is four years old. The commission says that the change in policy will reduce waiting lines at MVC inspection stations; Cape May County's station is located in Burleigh, Middle Township.
