Still quite jetlagged and up in the morning at 06:00h. Today we drive to Moeraki via the mountains and the lakes of the hydroelectric scheme. Yesterday evening Cousin Marianne and her son Marcus showed up from Timaru and we had wine on the terrace and a Japanese diner at the Kohan: reportedly the best on the South Island. So now, after this message, back to packing and breakfast! Weather looks fine!

We stayed at The Ledges By The Bay in Rockport Maine back in early November as part of our annual Fall Maine coast vacation trip. We chose one of the Ledges' deluxe ocean view rooms which was one of the best values for oceanfront Maine lodging that we found during our entire trip to Maine.
