The U.S. could have an oversupply of ethanol in the second half of 2010 according to a Wall Street Journal article. Increased ethanol production is expected as companies are experiencing stable prices for the biofuel and relatively low corn and natural gas prices for the first time since mid-2008. The most efficient companies could weather a glut in the market, but the smaller producers will not, said an analyst with Rafferty Capital.
