I forgot to report at the time, but the County Council on Tuesday, Dec. 8, voted 6-0 to approve a contract with consultants for up to $533,000 to design a new Potter Road bridge over the south fork of the Nooksack River. The contract has David Evans and Associates design a new bridge just west of Van Zandt, in the South Fork Valley.
