Over the Thanksgiving holiday I read Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin. It is about the “Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln” and is extremely fascinating. When I was in New York last weekend I took this picture of a page from book about Lincoln, where the weight of the presidency literally shows on his face as it deteriorates during his 5 years in office.
