Sunscreen causing pimples

Hello I suspect that my sunscreen is causing my skin to breakout. For a few days this week I only had to go out in the afternoon as the sun was setting, so I didn't wear my sunscreen - just my mineral powder makeup. I noticed during those three days that my skin became really smooth and no new pimples popped up. Yesterday I had a full day so I put on my sunscreen, and by the end of the day I had a nice big new irritated cluster of pimples ...
