As you know, the Justice Department had won its case against the Black Panthers for voter intimidation but refused to show up. It has stonewalled the requests of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and recently claimed it could ignore the Commission's subpoenas. The Washington Times has an excellent editorial on the whole matter and the current status.
