Yesterday at work I suddenly had this idea; why not have a day off?? I checked with the manager on duty and yes, I had plenty of overtime compensation to use... and a few phone calls later some extra had been persuaded to cover for me. So in short, I had today off! YAAY!! Despite the usual crappy weather, after breakfast with the kids and my gf, I made myself a trip to the city. I still had some Christmas shopping left. Why not complete it? ...
