A while back a Mercer professor scheduled a debate, locked in the time and day, then notified all the candidates of the day of the debate asking them to attend. Unfortunately, all the candidates except Ox had events that day and they weren't going to drop everything just to drive to Macon to attend a debate none of them knew anything about.
