What organ or system in your body processes drugs? My friend seems to process his drugs much quicker?

Whenever my friend does drugs his body seems to process them very quickly. Granted he has only done marijuana, ecstasy, and adderall, he seem to get over the very quickly. Why does it last for only a short while, and what part of his body is doing this? Please don't answer with comments such as don't take drugs and that it is bad. He is only an occasional user.
