Ah - in a CSO report about men and women in Ireland there is a graph on page 13 showing the size of the population at each age in 2009. I didn't know how big a baby boom I was at the head of. It also seems that the numbers in third level are likely to increase in the next few years. Maybe unsurprisingly, having children has a bigger impact on the employment levels of women than men.
