I have a medium sized typical English garden with Forsythia, Hydrangea, a few clipped Box bushes, Redcurrant bushes, Roses and a huge Cordyline palm. The grass is overlong but too wet to cut and also full of fallen leaves from next door's tree. I'd like to do a final clean up before retiring till spring. Does anyone have any tips for getting the best out of my garden over winter. Also, are there any good bedding plants to add a splash of colour.
