A regional initiative that would have improved the delivery of mental health services in the western counties has been scrapped. Commission chairman Ronnie Beale announced at the Dec. 14 meeting of the Macon County Board of Commissioners that a feasibility study found the 160-A interlocal agreement to be financially unsustainable.
