Because of Proclamation 1463, dated 18 February 2008, the Philippines will be having additional' holidays and probably the longest Christmas vacation for office workers as well. Unfortunately, there were a one or two other holidays seemingly lost, because they fell on weekends. Take note: National Heroes Day, usually on the last Sunday (31st) of August, is now moved to the last Monday (25th). That's one additional holiday. ...

The library will be closed for cleaning on Monday, December 14, 2009, and will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday, December 15. Reminder: The library will be on between term hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 and will be closed for the holidays, Monday Saturday, December 21 26, 2009, and Thursday Saturday, December 31, 2009 January 2, 2010. The library resumes its regular schedule when the winter term begins on January 4.
