With Redbox parent Coinstar reporting its fourth-quarter financials on Feb. 11, analysts are eager to see what effects the ongoing three-studio DVD embargo has had on the kiosk company. Analysts, while speculating that Redbox has hired additional “runners” to buy DVDs at retail for its machines, also point out that the company has benefited from a “tailwind” effect of Movie Gallery and Blockbuster store closures.
